Introduction

Our faculty of Applied Sciences follows the worldwide trending educational institutions for inter disciplinary research in sciences. Through Applied Sciences, we aim to deliver knowledge, innovation, and technology in Food Sciences & Technology for refined product development in the industry; and Biochemistry for better lab diagnostics. The mission is to form a bridge between academia and industry to encourage youth to build innovative ideas in the field of applied sciences. High-qualified and competitive faculty members and well-equipped laboratories for practical lab work and research are significant distinctions of this faculty. It is guided by strategic priority areas such as Core learning/ teaching programs and translation of education and practical knowledge into professional practice abilities. The Faculty of Applied Sciences consists of two academic departments: the School of Food Science & Technology and the School of Biochemistry.
