Introduction

The mission of faculty of Allied Health Sciences is to train students professionally to improve the health status of individuals & communities and to develop their scientific skills through research, learning & practice. Recognized as a leader in health education and research in Pakistan, our faculty of Allied Health Sciences offers professionally rewarding degree programs in Nutrition, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. Our academics include remarkably outstanding staff who are masters in their fields, aiming to provide a high quality, student centered learning experience. The focus on educational excellence through innovative teaching methodology and hands-on practical learning techniques makes us one of Pakistan's most dynamic and well-respected health professionals. The course work, practicals in laboratory and classroom teaching is integrated with quality practical training at affiliated health centers and hospitals. Allied Health Sciences faculty consists of two academic departments: the School of Human Nutrition & Dietetics and the School of Medical Lab Technology. Also, the plan to launch the School of Physical Therapy is under development.
