Dr. Anam Iqbal is an Assistant Professor at the School of Islamic Banking and Finance, Minhaj University Lahore. She earned her Ph.D. in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), an MS in Finance from the University of Management and Technology, Lahore, and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Bahauddin Zakariya University. She supervises Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars and teaches courses on Islamic Financial Systems and Transactions, Shariah Governance, International Islamic Financial Markets, Audit and Ethics (AAOIFI/CIPA), and Risk Management. Her research focuses on Islamic finance, Shariah non-compliance risk, governance, accounting for Islamic finance, and Islamic social finance. Dr. Iqbal has presented at international conferences and seminars, published research and policy papers in Pakistan and abroad, and currently serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Islamic Economics and Governance.
