Dr. Sadaf Aman is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Zoology at Minhaj University Lahore since 2023, where she is actively involved in teaching and supervising BS and M.Phil. Zoology degree programs. She holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of the Punjab and during her Ph.D., she was awarded the scholarship by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and completed part of her research at Cornell University, New York, USA. She has completed her M.Phil. in Zoology from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and earned her BS in Zoology with a Gold Medal, along with several academic honors including merit scholarship and a Best Student Certificate. She has been recognized internationally, including receiving a Research fellowship from Metharath University, Thailand, and was recently honored with the Best Presentation Award at the International Conference 2024 in Turkey. She is an active member of the World Aquaculture Society (USA) and has submitted multiple research grant proposals to national and international funding bodies. In addition to her academic career, she has also served in a Government role as Assistant Director Fisheries in the Government of the Punjab, adding administrative experience to her portfolio. Dr. Aman is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Basic and Emerging Sciences at Minhaj University and has played a key role in organizing several national and international seminars and conferences. Dr. Aman has published numerous research and review articles in impact factor journals, primarily as the first author, and continues to contribute actively to the field of aquaculture and fisheries science.
