Introduction

The Associate Degree in Information Technology (AD IT) is a foundational program designed to develop essential skills and knowledge in computing, networking, software, and modern IT systems. As technology becomes central to business, education, healthcare, and everyday life, there is a growing need for trained IT professionals who can manage, support, and troubleshoot digital environments. Graduates of AD IT are prepared for entry-level roles such as IT support technician, network assistant, computer operator, or junior developer, and they may also continue their studies toward a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related fields.

Eligibility Criteria:
The typical admission criteria include a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate (12 years of education) or equivalent qualifications, such as A-Levels, or DAE (Computer) with Mathematics, and often requires mathematics as a subject at the intermediate level
