Introduction

The Bachelor of Science in Defense and Strategic Studies (BS DSS) is an interdisciplinary and analytically rigorous program designed to equip students with a profound understanding of the evolving global security landscape, defense policies, military strategies, and international relations. This program offers a comprehensive exploration of national and international security challenges, strategic decision-making, and the role of state and non-state actors in shaping the modern defense environment.
The coursework includes an in-depth study of geopolitical competition, intelligence and national security policies, arms control and disarmament, regional and global conflicts, and crisis management strategies.

Under this program, students develop research competencies and policy evaluation skills, enabling them to contribute effectively to defense planning, international diplomacy, and strategic decision-making processes.
