Introduction

The M.Phil. Pharmacology program at Minhaj University Lahore is a postgraduate research-oriented degree aimed at developing advanced expertise in pharmacological sciences. The program focuses on the scientific study of drug action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicology, and experimental therapeutics. It is designed in compliance with HEC postgraduate education policies and prepares graduates for academic, research, and professional advancement.

Students receive rigorous training in research methodology, data analysis, and experimental design, enabling them to conduct independent research and contribute to scientific knowledge in pharmacology and related biomedical disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria
5 years Pharm. D degree holders with minimum 50% Marks/2.5 CGPA from duly recognized University from HEC and Faculty/Department from PCP.
The candidate has passed University Admission Test with minimum of 70% marks. 

Objectives

  1. To develop skills of Pharmacists which in turn enhance quality of life socially and economically.
  2. To develop a cohesive research strategy which may assist the Pharmacology researchers in designing, monitoring and implementing clinical trials, toxicological studies and intervention studies.
  3. To learn application of biostatistics in research and relevant fields.
  4. To strengthen logical and analytical skills.
  5. To prepare students for career in Academia, Regulatory affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical study coordination, drug safety monitoring, Immunology etc.
