Introduction

MPhil in Halal Food Safety Management is a research based program tailored to meet the growing demand of qualified and skilled food safety officers and halal lead auditors in a range of professional areas including food quality assurance, research and development of food products and processing technologies. This program also resonates with Punjab Food Authority’s (PFA) requirements to hire food safety officer and halal lead auditor at all food establishments from farm to fork by efficiently training the students in every stage of production, supply chain, retail and serving areas to ensure provision of healthy, safe and standard food to the people. 
Graduates of MPhil Halal Food Safety Management in will have tremendous job opportunities in food industries like baking industry, beverage industry, frozen meat industry, snack food industry and dairy industry etc.

Objectives

MPhil in Halal Food Safety Management aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and professional skills, enabling them to address challenges in food safety and halal management. The key objectives of MPhil in Halal Food Safety Management are to:
